Mary Mary Breaks Billboard Record

Mary Mary have broken the record for the longest chart-run by a group on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart with "God In Me". The hit record from their album 'The Sound' has spent 64 weeks on the chart, surpassing Dru Hill's "In My Bed", which spent 63 weeks on the chart from 1997-98.
This HMM" God in me" is an urban gospel track.Let this be a clue to the church. Holiness and a hot beat can work. This just goes in line with what Mr. Henry Harris said on our conference call.
Our time is now. Make moves.not excuses.

Dedicated Music Group, Inc. artists Mr. Del and Mali Music both get Dove Award Nominations
Written by Webmaster

The Gospel Music Association announced the final nominees for the 41st GMA Dove Awards. Dedicated Music Group, Inc. artists Mr. Del and Mali Music both garnered nominations. These are the first music award nominations the 2-year old rising indie label has received. The Memphis, TN based Urban and Hip Hop label is distributed through Universal Music Christian Group and has accomplished many accolades in its’ first year of releases.
Mr. Del’s Thrilla CD is nominated in CATEGORY 21 FOR RAP/HIP HOP ALBUM OF THE YEAR. Mr. Del’s THRILLA CD, released June 30, 2009 debuted at #2 on the Christian R&B/Hip Hop Chart, and has been dubbed his deepest and most musically diverse project to date. THRILLA is an acronym for THE REAL ANNOINTING. On this album, Mr. Del allows people to see more of his personal life. “THRILLA shows more of a deeper, transparent side of me,” he agrees. THRILLA allows the listener to submerge into the heart of an artist who has overcome weakness and is now refined and stronger through Christ.
Mali Music captured a nomination in CATEGORY 17, URBAN RECORDED SONG OF THE YEAR “AVAYLABLE”. “Avaylable” started out as the acoustic YouTube smash hit video and is now being played on Gospel and Christian radio stations across the county. Mali Music’s national debut CD release is being hailed as a landmark release in Christian music. The 2econd Coming, released in partnership with Sound Walk Music Group on July 14, 2009 debuted at #15 Billboard Current Gospel Chart and presents infinite boundaries throughout Contemporary Christian music. Stretching the boundaries of Contemporary Christian, The 2econd Coming displays Mali’s extensive vocal and production versatility, and his God-given ability to reach any audience. His bold, unique sound and gift for musical storytelling has captivated audiences, drawing them in to a lyrical adventure and spiritual revival. The 2econd Coming also includes the bold and unrelenting fan favorite “I Hate You”, a lyrically clever, in-your-face illustration of the lies and darkness of evil and the rebuke and triumph we have over it.
Dedicated Music Group is on a mission to make 2010 bigger and better. DMG has attained a partnership with One Route Entertainment for national distribution of future music releases from noted hip hop master D-MAUB. Donny “D-MAUB” Harper of Cincinnati Ohio has experienced many accomplishments in the years through various bookings, showcase opportunities and building relationships with other artists and industry professionals. D-MAUB and One Route Entertainment has released six CD projects since 2005 and the successful Crazy Tones ringtone album in the summer of 2009.
Forthcoming 2010 projects from DMG will introduce the hot new edgy Hip Hop group Movement of Truth and generate a collaboration project between Mr. Del and Hip Hop hit maker iRocc. The highly anticipated CD Inside Out from DMAUB is set to hit the streets this summer as well.
About DMG: Memphis, TN based DMG, distributed by Universal Music Christian Group, was created in 2008 by Delmar Lawrence (AKA “Mr. Del’) to provide opportunities to other artists who are ready to proclaim the Gospel in new and innovative ways through music. For years, Mr. Del, former member of the hardcore rap group Three 6 Mafia, has been an essential source of Hip Hop music. As the flagship artist, Mr. Del will continue to take his untraditional approach to the Gospel directly to the next generation. Along with Delmar Lawrence (President), the DMG staff is comprised of Angela Green (Operations Manager), who is a noted Entertainment Lawyer and music publishing consultant; and Benita Bellamy of The Bellamy Group (Marketing and Promotions Director), an industry marketer who brings experience from EMI CMG, Sanctuary Records and Light Records.

An Apology from Emanuel L. Lambert, Jr. - Da' T.R.U.T.H.
Dear Ministry Partners, Co-laborers, Supporters, Brothers/Sisters in Christ & Friends:
In light of a moral indiscretion in my personal life, I will be taking a sabbatical from music ministry and teaching upon fulfilling my current commitments to work closely with my pastor, church and restoration team. I have repented first to God and then to my wife and family. It is my prayer that my family, supporters and the brethren in Christ will collectively be able to forgive me. In the days ahead, my family and I will be taking the appropriate steps necessary to heal and regroup together as a unit. I prayerfully ask that our privacy be respected at this time.
I ask for your forgiveness as I work towards reconciliation. My greatest hope is that my failures and short comings are seen for what they are-MY failings and not a reflection of the God that I proclaim. Despite my falling short, the resurrection and life changing power of the cross remains the same.
While I never imagined myself ever being here, I humbly ask that you lift my family and me up in prayer for the wisdom, healing and restoration we need. I look forward to the day when I will stand before you again, while living a life that reflects the power of the glorious gospel.

CMR's Da' T.R.U.T.H. Statement
Dear brothers and sisters in the faith,
This life is uncertain and refuses to leave us unchallenged. The world we live in overflows with the sad stories of both sinners and unfortunately saints. However, in the most unstable times, we can all be strengthened in this truth—that our God remains unchanged by our challenges, unaffected by our failures, and waits poised to help the repentant and contrite.
It is with tremendous sadness and humble disappointment that Cross Movement Records must inform you regarding the suspension of the promotion and forwarding of the artist, minister, and ministry of Da Truth, aka Emanuel Lambert Jr., due to recent findings of moral failure in his marriage. It is the expressed ambition and demonstrated intent of this label to foster Christian leadership that utilizes the platforms of an artist or musician. While obedience to the word of God is the high standard for all who name the name of Christ, for the Christian leader, the standards and the consequences are even greater.
